EQUIPPING

Go deep into the Word and get equipped for ministry! You will regularly hear preaching and teaching and be in services and class settings that will challenge and equip you. You will also get real life experience with a diversity of ministries, such as youth, intercession, and outreach in a local church context.

ENCOUNTER

We believe in the life-giving, life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. We value the anointing and the tangible presence of God above all else. You will regularly have radical encounters with God through prayer, worship, and the laying on of hands. Your life will never be the same when you jump in the River of Life!

It's a good idea to start raising money right now. While you will not need a lot of money to be a part of the internship, we don't want you to be in poverty. The best plan is a mixture of income from work, raising monthly support, and asking for one-time donations to get you moved here and to cover the first month or so. You will learn more about this soon and we will help you get funded. How do you plan on funding your expenses to get here until you have income (i.e., "I have a job," "I am going to raise support from people who believe in me." "The ravens fed Elijah," etc.)

We are connected with an amazing local church here in New Orleans (Victory Church -- victorychurchnola.com). Our ministry is sometimes in the French Quarter, and sometimes at Victory. You will be expected to attend church with us at Victory on Sundays. Are you willing to do that?

Our ministry is Pentecostal. We believe strongly in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, in speaking in tongues, in the laying on of hands, in experiencing the presence of God, in passionate worship, in the anointing of the Holy Ghost. It is very common both in our ministry and at Victory Church to see the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit and we put presence of God in the center of all that we do. Are you ok with that?
